qur'an's reproachful addresses to the prophet muhammad (pbuh) and review and critique of its translations

reviewing the verses of holy quran, we find some verses in which the god al-mighty addresses the prophet muhammad (pbuh) reproachfully. the most important of these reproaches are as follows: request of forgiveness from allah, prohibiting of doubt, prohibiting of paganism, emphasis on the divine protection, blame on divine sanction and emphasis on the primacy of the fear of god to the fear of people. since translating of these reproachful addresses may arises the doubt of non-infallibility of prophet mohammad (pbuh), so the translation of them will be sensitive and difficult for translators. using the opinions of the quran commentators and scholars, this paper tries to review some of the most important persian translations of holy quran based on the theological presuppositions. with the expression of the potential strengths and weaknesses of the translations and evaluation of various methods used whether in the literal, loyal, paraphrased and interpretative method, this paper also attempts to introduce the most successful translation in implementing true meaning of the verses.
